The Npower was introduced in 2016, by President Buhari’s regime shortly after he took over power with the primary purpose of addressing youth unemployment and helping increase social development.
This article will be looking at the stipend structure or scale used in paying Npower program beneficiaries of over one million which encompasses the three batches.

The Program is designed to target Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 35 “to acquire and develop life-long skills for becoming change-makers in their communities.”
Batch A of 200,000 came in 2016, batch B of 300,000 was onboarded 20217, and batch C1 of 510,000 2021, it has a plan to bring in 490,000 batch C stream 2 by next year.
It is worthy to mention that, batch A and B are now transitioned into a Program called NExit, here a loan will be attached as empowerment, the same gesture will be given to batch C1 at the expiration of one year
Purpose of the program
“The Program is built to prepare young Nigerians for a modern, globalized economy by helping equip youths with skills and certifications for emerging global markets.
“Nigeria is looking to increase its already bustling technology sector by supporting a talent pool of software developers, hardware professionals, and other tech-based skills such as animators and digital artists”

N-Teach, N-Health, N-Agro,
Non- Graduate Programs:
N-Power Knowledge-It comprises of N-Creative, N-Tech Hardware, N-Tech Software
